It might work fine (haven't needed it since) but I'm planning another international ride and am not going overseas with a suspect chain tool that might fail again.

The good news is, the threaded socket on the tool body is not damaged, so I'm thinking I will be able to buy a new threaded stud of some sort to replace the cracked handle. My handle is now bent/cracked after one use.
